Delete your WorkoutGen account

You can delete your WorkoutGen account and related data at any time from the app, website, or by email, without having to reinstall the app.
From the app or website
- Open WorkoutGen on your phone, or sign in on the website: my.workoutgen.app
- Go to Settings, then Sensitive actions.
- Select Delete my account, then confirm.
Deletion takes effect immediately. Erasure by our measurement providers may take longer, as described in the privacy policy, section 7.
By email, without signing in
Email us from the email address on your account, requesting deletion of your WorkoutGen account:
We verify that the request came from that address, then delete your account and its data within one month at most, and confirm the deletion by email.
What is deleted
Your account, program, workout history, measurements, settings, and privacy choices are deleted, along with older measurement data linked to your account and, where applicable, your contribution to AI learning.
What may be retained
- A technical record of the deletion that contains no account identifiers, deleted within 30 days.
- Invoices for a subscription purchased on our website or in the Windows app, retained by our reseller Lemon Squeezy. Payments made through the App Store or Google Play remain with Apple or Google.
- Our email delivery logs, retained by our email delivery provider for approximately 30 days.
- Fingerprints of your login identities, without your old profile or program, to limit account recreation to three times in 30 days. They expire 30 days after deletion or, after a recreation, 30 days after the first recreation during that period. This protection does not prevent you from deleting your account.
- Messages exchanged with our support team, retained for 3 years after the last message and then deleted.
Your subscription
A subscription purchased on our website or in the Windows app must be canceled before deleting your account: Settings, then Manage subscription. A subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play must be canceled in the store: cancel it before deleting your account, or you will continue to be charged. For Google Play, the account deletion window also lets you stop its renewal when possible.
